Training for the knucklehead rescue dogs

Hi, I’m Lisa, recently widowed, and these two fur babies are recent rescues my husband and I rescued and were working on their socialization and leash walking…and then my husband died suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving me these two little liabilities. I love them to death, and they’re keeping me going these days.

Because I’m recovering from a broken bone in my foot, I haven’t been able to work with them, and I’m unable to walk them, or leave them home alone for very long, and they have to be able to stay home when I go back to work, and I have to be able to walk them by myself now.

I have been watching “Canine Intervention” and looked up the website for CaliK9 and they have amazing ratings and I’m not sure I will be able to afford the full boarding and training option for two dogs, but I’m hoping whatever funds I raise will help defer the cost and help me get them the best training I can. I looked up the various levels of training available, it could set me back $6,000 per dog. But whatever amount I raise will go 100% towards their training.

Everyone has been wanting to send flowers, food, or help in some way—well this is definitely something I could use, and would make a huge difference in our lives now that we are without their Fur Dad. Every bit helps, and it’s hard for me to ask for help but this is for the little knuckleheads and to get them better socialized and trained to make them easier to handle on my own.
