Training to help mend broken relationships

Hey there! We are the DeYoung's, Nick and Sarah. We've been married for over 24 years and, in that time, have looked to minister to people in need. We've done this by opening our home to foster children, teaching God's truth, and counseling through the love of Jesus.
Just like you, we feel the weight of broken relationships all around us. We also know that there is hope that can be found for any relationship that is in need. Often this comes through the process of reconciliation.
With the world moving increasingly toward division, we believe reconciliation is the next big step in Christian discipleship. If we can't get past relationship differences and disagreements, what hope do we have of sharing the unity found in Jesus with the rest of the world?
There is a solution. To be better equipped to walk with people, families, churches, and businesses through the reconciliation process. The DeYoung family wants to be part of that solution.
Our goal is to complete reconciliation and mediation training through the help of Ambassadors of Reconciliation (aorhope.org). This training will allow us to be certified in the area of coaching, mediation and reconciliation. The process will include coursework, supervised coaching sessions with a mentor couple, and training to teach the material to churches and other organizations.
Our Goals:
Complete the certification process.
Utilize these skills to better serve our current ministry placement.
Minister to and train churches in New Hampshire, Vermont, and the wider New England area as needed.
Then in the future, as opportunities open up, minister to the missionary population.
Thank you for being a partner in this work!
