Trans Closet Club Storage Unit

I started Trans Closet Club with the intentions of providing free “on-trend” clothing for Trans and Non-Binary folks. I had to acknowledge my privilege to be able to shop open and freely without having to fear for my safety or overall uncomfortable situations that occur for Trans and Non-binary people when shopping at typical retail stores. My goal is to create a safe way for Trans and Non-binary folks to obtain clean, on-trend, gender-affirming clothing. 

I’ve been accepting clothing donations in my small apartment and am beginning to run out ofspace. In order to effectively give back to the community in this way, I need more space to organize the clothing and be able to accept more donations in general. I have used money out of my own pockets for all fees that have occurred from this adventure so far and could really use some help to keep it going! 

I rented a storage unit for a good deal and am asking folx to help donate money for the monthly rent. The rent is $75 a month, so I’m hoping to raise $500 for at least 6 months of rent for the unit. I will be using the extra $50 to go towards gas for deliveries of clothing. I appreciate anything you’re able to give and can provide a receipt each month for the rent fee.
