Trans Nonbinary Human living in Van with dog.

Hi, my name is Bolt. I’m a trans-masculine nonbinary human who is currently houseless and living in my van with my dog Buddy. This year has been super challenging. I was evicted from my home of 2 years after the landlords sold the house and unfortunately, I haven’t been given back my deposit to put a down payment on another home. Preparation of my displacement was challenging due to juggling a full time job along with not having a working vehicle to haul all my things out with. I consequently had to take a lot of time off from work and, in turn, was terminated.

During this already stressful process, my precious baby lamb, Buddy, a completely blind special needs poodle went into kidney failure. It’s still unknown what the cause was but we suspect he got into something poisonous , perhaps something outside. My first morning waking up in the van I received a call regarding Buddy’s status at the vet saying that after keeping him over night and hooked up to fluids for almost a week and after testing his blood and urine and watching him closely they still couldn’t say for sure what was causing his sickness, wasn’t showing signs of getting better and was now scheduled for euthanasia later on that afternoon. Through a miracle and the support of Buddys amazing foster mom, we didn’t give up on him and has so far survived and his Recovery seems to be headed in a good direction. He is still battling a UTI and will continue to need consistent weekly visits to the vet as well as to stay on a prescription food diet for his kidneys and continuing him on antibiotics and other medications until we could say for sure he is completely nursed back to 100%. He has been my emotional support dog for the last 4 years, and losing him would be extremely gutwrenching. Especially after losing so much already this year.

Thankfully, I have been able to stay in a friend's room the last couple of weeks while they are out of town, but once they come back I will have to move my sweet angel Buddy and I back to the van to be on the streets again. I am making this Go-FundMe to get my life stabilized by paying a down payment on a new home, paying my accumulated debt, and taking care of the vet bills for my dog.

* Make Van fully Safe, Drivable and on the road- $1300.00

* Past Due Entergy Bill $621.00

* For daily living ie..food, soap, tp etc... $150.00
