Trans Woman 2S Houseless Land Defender in Crisis

“Erica” is a Land Defender with Landback and has spent countless hours on the frontline. She recently lost EVERYTHING during a mental health crisis, experienced police brutality and is being involuntarily held in hospital under the Mental Health Act. She is starting from scratch after losing all of her stuff and is asking the community for support in starting over and recovering.

Erica has asked her friend Ryan to put the funds through his bank account so that he can bring to her as needed.

Erica is houseless and needs support in getting housing and personal items. Also, during her mental health crisis, she was arrested and given criminal charges. Erica needs funding to support her through her recovery and legal battle. Estimated funds needed: $6500

Erica is an artist and needs art supplies to help her continue her practice, which will support her recovery. Estimated funds for art supplies: $1000 (drawing and painting supplies, cost of framing and printing)
