Trans Woman of Color's Bottom Surgery Fund!!!!!

I'm Ai Vy Luu! I'm a Vietnamese-American trans woman based in Brooklyn, NY. AND I'M GETTING BOTTOM SURGERY IN FEBRUARY!!!!!! With help from the generous hearts of internet dwellers like you, that is.

I'm a comedian, musician, writer, and actor, and I'm really proud of the work that I do. I've performed in Off-Broadway musicals, I created my own solo show at Ars Nova, my writing has been featured in Reductress and Awf Mag, and I'm a multi-instrumentalist and singer.

On top of all this, I have a full-time job that's given me health insurance for the first time in my adult life, which has given me the opportunity to pursue lifesaving gender affirming care. The privilege is not lost on me. I am a very lucky girl who is being given an opportunity that many people like me do not get.

I was hoping that with my insurance, I would be able to cover the rest of the costs associated with my surgery out of pocket. Unfortunately, that's simply not the case, and the fact is that without financial help, I won't be able to get my surgery at all.
