Trans Woman struggling with housing

Hi, my name is Rue Paynter. I am a trans non-binary individual attending Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. I study multimedia production and design, and I'm an aspiring musician/composer. Currently my work has, or will be featured in several fan works such as Friday Night Funkin' Flip-Side, Deltarune: FOUR SUITS, and others.

 

At the moment I am writing this, I find myself at a point where I cannot afford housing, and have unfortunately nowhere else to go at the moment. I currently owe exactly $1,946 in fees, which cover both tuition and housing. I am currently working at the college in marketing and communicating, though I am only able to work weekends, which unfortunately only helps as much as it can.

 

While this GoFundMe is up and going, I am also doing what I can to find a job that will get me the money and hours I need, as well and applying for scholarships and grants. It's the only thing I know to do right now. I need these funds as soon as I can, by November would be the best possible outcome, though I will leave this page open for as long as I need it to be open for.

 

The funds I get from this GoFundMe page will be going directly to the college, though I'm adding an extra 1,000 to the goal for support (which goes into food, clothes, and other needs.) Any and all donations have my upmost thank you. I am also offering music commissions via KoFi, in the off chance anyone donating is interested in my works.
