Trans women seeking help with rent, living expenses

Hello. I'm Izolde Fishman; I'm a trans woman living in San Francisco, California with my partner Kimi and our cat, Tora. I was our primary breadwinner until I lost my last job, but I've been out of work for a considerable amount of time and the job market for me (as an early-career software developer without a degree who happens to also be a trans woman) is pretty damned rough! We are presently way behind on rent and struggling to pay for bills, food, etc. I've been attending classes at City College with an eye toward retraining so's to have more options for potential sources of work, but I'm not there yet and we are in a pretty dire position.

I'm somewhat self-conscious about putting another GoFundMe together because we've been living on charity for a significant amount of time at this point and I'm not able at this juncture to speak definitively about when we might be on our feet, but our situation is pretty desperate right now, so I'm trying to raise some money. We'll be using this to pay our landlord a month of rent to help buy a little more time for the job hunt and to cover expenses like the power bill, medical costs, food, cat food, etc.

It's possible (and I'd like to be optimistic about this but the past year has been sufficiently grinding that I can't be too optimistic) that I'll have a decent job within the month; if this happens and we've raised an appreciable amount of money, it'll go to paying down our horrifying amount of back rent. Our landlord has been very reasonable and understanding but I still don't care for owing him money, and I would like our housing to be secure ASAP.
