Transcend Aftercare Program

Asking for support with a small donation for the birth of a non-profit organization called Transcend. A program geared at providing aftercare services (both virtual or physical) to help youth, transcend in life skills. For youth lacking the support & guidance from family, community, and or current environments; homeless children rotating within DCFS & youth exiting residential facilities and or transitioning from young adulthood into independent living.

This program will provide case management, self help activities, access to community organizations & educational/vocational resources, as well as advocate in areas the youth resonates most. It is a start to a program to grow young adults beyond their struggle and or basic need to survive & maintain a productive livelihood.

There are so many challenges our youth face today, with no baseline set for them to follow. Even if small in portion- to advocate for youth wanting MORE, & help them achieve permanent goals, is a step towards change.

The first steps are collecting resources and the most minim essentials/tools needed to assist the youth move forward in life, cope with daily issues that delay the process of growth!!!

This will be a long journey but this is a start to a program that underprivileged youth would be able to take advantage of at their own leisure and dedication!!!
