Transform Communities: Fund Live Art Walls
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the Ink People’s Dream Maker Project “Live Art Walls”, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Live Art Walls is an artist-driven project where artists paint forgotten and neglected places in their communities. Artists supply their own paint, supplies, and time, gifting their talents to their communities. We started in 2018 in Eureka, CA at Halvorsen Park, when one artist was asked to paint a 100 sq ft mural on a 9,000 sq ft wall. That artist worked with the city and the Ink People Center Of Arts to propose that the entire wall be painted. After a few months of work, Live Art Walls was born. Artists have painted at Halvorsen Park a number of times and have extended their reach to the Mission in SF. This September 2024, 45 artists will be painting at Halvorsen Park during Cannifest, and in November we will have our 2nd Youth Mural Festival.
Donations will go towards the purchase of paint for artists, supplies and equipment like telescoping ladders, extension poles, rollers, brushes, paint trays, etc. Donations will also go towards paying artists a stipend for their time and efforts.

We encourage people to exercise their humanity, build civic discourse, and engage their creative potential. We are a community-based, grassroots, artist-run, arts and culture organization. We know that young people are the future and are incredibly challenged by today's world, so we try to give them tools to build successful and fulfilling lives.
