Transform Gold City Nursing Home Salon

Hello kind-hearted friends! My name is Lela Tilson, and I am a hairdresser that comes to work at Gold City Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center to love on and make these residents feel happy and healthy. I am contracted and charge very little or none at all because the Lord has put this place on my heart more for ministry. Most residents do not get to leave due to their condition or get to have fun experiences, so I really try to make my little studio feel like a real salon experience.

Now, they do not have the funding to renovate this space. It’s been decades since it’s been even touched. I want to fix some things up and replace the old and make it new for them. There are holes in the wall, it needs new paint, shelving, a new attachment for the sink, a good cleaning, new supplies, and more, and maybe even some decor! They love coming in to get their hair done, but let’s help them get a whole level up to their experience!!

I have prayed about this a lot, and feel very led to get this done for them, and maybe more later!! Thank you so much in advance for your generosity, and I will be posting after photos on my socials!
