Transform Lives with Green Visions Program

For over 13 years, Greentopia has been dedicated to creating and sustaining urban green spaces in High Falls, Rochester. Our mission is to inspire positive change through the power of nature and community engagement. With the support of volunteers, donors, and partners, Greentopia has successfully advocated for access to natural resources and driven creative planning for Rochester’s new State Park at High Falls. Our Green Visions Program has been a cornerstone of this effort, offering job training and work experience to at-risk youth, empowering them to build better futures while transforming vacant urban lots into vibrant flower farms.

We are seeking to raise $40,000 to complete the furnishings of our newly renovated Green Visions Training Center at 188 Whitney, located in the heart of our urban flower farm. This space will serve as a home base for our year-round Green Visions Workforce Development program, allowing us to expand our offerings to more youth in the community. With ongoing support, we’ve already piloted a successful winter program, secured funding for future programs, and received $100,000 from New York State. Your donation will help us close the remaining funding gap and complete this vital project, providing more opportunities for disadvantaged youth to gain essential skills, certifications, and full-time job placements
