Transforming Communities
A powerful group of leaders have decided to get together to impact the world. Your donations will go to Konbit Pou Potapiman and The Torch Foundation to support communities devastated by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in the Caribbean nation of Haiti on August 14th, 2021, and domestic transformational leadership workshops devoted to empowering teens. Konbit Pou Potapiman has been providing different projects that help to build the community, support schools, and healthcare system. With your support the community of 1,200 families will regain the means of acquiring shelter, food, clean water, and health care.
Konbit Pou Potapiman (KPP) is a nonprofit organization that develops projects to assist the community of Port-a-Piment, Haiti. KPP supports schools. KPP provides education, civic, social and health programs. It participates in programs that help build infrastructure and organizes meetings to solve the issues affecting the county. KPP supports programs that improve the health of the community by donating medical supplies and equipment to the local hospital. An annual health fair provided medical care, education and free Medicines to the sick and underprivileged.
The Torch Foundation offers transformational leadership workshops for teens between the ages of 13-17. Two-day workshops are tailored to the unique interests and needs of the teens, and they provide a safe, engaging, and inspirational environment for profound self-discovery and growth. Through carefully guided exercises and activities, the teens 1) discover their maximum potential; 2) identify the limiting beliefs and other obstacles that are stopping them from achieving their potential, and 3) learn effective ways to overcome those obstacles. The powerful tools and skills gained through this experience allows teens to transform their lives and create unlimited possibilities for themselves, their families, and the world.
