Transition Fund

Hello, my name is Esme. I am 21 year old 3rd drama school student training as an actor, it is my passion and my drive in this world. I hope to take the world by storm soon... after I graduate ☺️

I am also a proud transgender female. I have been transitioning for nearly 5 years now and i have come to the point where I am in need of medically transitioning further for my own mental health and growth.

It has been an incredibly exhausting but truly necessary 5 years, transitioning has saved me when I did not know where my life was going to take me, but it was my best and bravest decision I've ever made. I am extremely lucky to have such a supportive family and friends to see me through this.

To simplify this I am fundraising for money towards a Breast augmentation and tracheal shave (Adam's apple reduction), this is my next step in my transition to get to a place where I can be completely comfortable in my body and relieve daily chronic anxiety and gender dysphoria which plagues my mind constantly.

These surgery would be monumental to my mental health and how my life continues from here, I cannot continue to live my life to its fullest when I do not feel 100% me and although transitioning is a long journey, not solved by 1 surgery, I know this will bring me so much closer to a place where I feel comfortable and accepted by myself and the society around me.

This is not just a boob job but the beginning of my life as an adult, an actor, and most importantly the woman I am.

I have now added on the tracheal shave because as I have aged it has become very pronounced and causes me a lot of visual dysphoria and due to the medical downtime from surgeries it is often better to get them done around the same time 

i have set up this gofundme as I am not in a position financially to support myself medically, I'm am currently paying for hormones and spent over 1k just to get the right hormones pumping around me

so any support no matter how little or just spreading the message would mean the absolute WORLD.

I would just like to add - as a trans woman going into the acting industry, I never believed I could do this, I never believed anyone would accept me as a woman let alone on stage or in tv. I am here to prove myself and the world wrong, Im already breaking boundaries just by being at drama school, trans representation is far and few, I am here to change that. Which is why I am finally focusing on myself and what I need to be me ( hopefully with some help )
