transitioning help for the Lewis’s
Donation protected
Hi friends and family, thank you for taking a moment to come here and read my hopes for helping Khrystian and Joshua Lewis post the loss of their son, Aidyn Johnston. I’m very moved and determined to show love and faith WITH works to this precious family, as I know many of you are. Aidyn Johnston passed away in his parents arms on June 17th, 2018. At three months old, Aidyn spent a month in the hospital due to RSV. At seven months he was diagnosed with infantile spasms, an epileptic disorder that caused cognitive damages. At four years old he was diagnosed with nephronophthisis, a type of medullary kidney disease. In January 2017 he underwent open heart surgery which lead to a month and a half stay in Texas Children’s Hospital and 6 weeks of dialysis. Several months after Aidyn’s kidneys not being able to function at goal, the hospital’s ethics committee met with Khrystian about palliative care for Aidyn. The hits kept coming, and Khrystian and Josh kept loving and caring for Aidyn, without ever ceasing. Since then his health has slowly declined. A few weeks ago, Aidyn got stomach flu and walking pneumonia. Unfortunately his body was no longer able to battle these sickness as he was already so tired. Late night on Father’s Day, Aidyn, the brave little gladiator, laid down his shield and passed on to paradise. Khrystian and Joshua thankfully have help for to cover funeral costs, however we want to help Khrystian and Josh transition post Aidyn’s passing, and help give them time to grieve, time to recover and recoop, and come up with the most appropriate game plan as Khrystian will be going back into the workforce, after many years staying at home with Aidyn. We just want to make sure they can be financially secure for a little bit until they can transition Khrystian going back to the work field. It’s been many years for Khrystian, and it will take time for this transition, and especially for Aidyn’s twin sister, Ayana, and new baby “Teddy” Lewis ♥️. Any love offering/donation given to this precious family is so much appreciated. I also ask for continued prayers and positive words for Khrystian and all the Lewis family ♥️
