Rehabilitation efforts for Noemi & her children

Let me start by saying thank you for the heroism demonstrated by the first responders on February 18, in Burnsville MN. Their heroic actions and sacrifice was nothing short of remarkable. We are forever grateful for their unwavering dedication to duty and their role in reuniting Noemi with her children.

After a long and challenging custody battle, Shannon Gooden was awarded primary custody of the children. But this victory came at a great cost, as the courts ignored his history of abuse and troubled past, causing their kids to suffer while in his care.

After losing partial custody of her children, Noemi in turn had to downsize to a one bedroom apartment. During her court battle she also lost her car due to theft. Following the suicide of Shannon, Noemi has now thankfully regained full custody of her children.

Noemi's journey as a parent is marked by resilience and love, as two of her children are hard of hearing and one is on the spectrum. Despite the challenges, she remains determined to provide them with the best possible care and support.

Noemi and her 3 children are struggling to resume their normal routine due to lack of housing and transportation. Please consider donating to help them in their time of need.
