La persona en la foto es mi prima Lety Cabrera. La foto fue tomada no hace mucho cuando callo en coma por un derrame debido a que sus riñones ya no trabajan como antes.
Esta es la razón principal de hacer esta pagina para recaudar fondos para ella ya que necesita urgentemente un trasplante de riñon y lamentablemente no cuenta con seguro medico.
Debido a la falta de seguro medico ella lleva la carga de pagar esta factura directamente, algo que muchos de nosotros no podríamos cubrir al igual que ella porque es una factura de $100,000 dolares.
Lleva 3 años con esta angustia sin saber cuanto tiempo mas debe esperar para esta operación.
A un amigo de el esposo de Lety se le hablando el corazón al ver el sufrimiento de ambos y a tomado la iniciativa de donar su propio riñón ya que es compatible pero a Lety le an negado hacer la operación por falta de seguro medico y falta de fondos para cubrir el costo.
A pesar de ser joven, con una larga vida por delante, Lety sufre mucho por que para ella no es fácil tener que hacerse diálisis 3 veces por semana, tomar medicamentos caros, no poder comer y tomar agua como antes debido a que su condición a ido empeorando y la única manera de extraer los orines es atraves de un proceso manual. Tampoco puede bañarse como antes lo hacia por los cuidados que necesita y el riesgo de agarrar una infección en el proceso.
Contamos con la ayuda de familiares y amigos para lograr alcanzar esta meta para que Lety pueda llevar acabo esta operación y seguir viviendo una vida tranquila con salud... una meta con cual todos podemos relacionar.

The person in the photo is my cousin Lety Cabrera. The photo was taken not long ago when she fell into a coma from a stroke because her kidneys no longer work as they did before.
This is the main reason for making this page; to raise funds for her as she urgently needs a kidney transplant because she unfortunately does not have health insurance.
Due to the lack of health insurance she bears the burden of paying this bill directly, something that many of us could not cover because it is a bill of an untouchable magnitude of $ 100,000 dollars.
She has been with this anguish for 3 years without knowing how much longer until this operation.
A friend of Lety's husband was touched when he saw the suffering of both, so he has taken the initiative to donate his own kidney since it is compatible, but Lety has been refused the operation due to lack of health insurance and lack of funds to cover the cost.
Despite being young, with a long life ahead of her, Lety suffers a lot because it is not easy for her to have to do dialysis 3 times a week, taking expensive medications, not being able to eat and drink water as before because her condition has gone getting worse and the only way to extract the urine is through a manual process.
