Transportation and Education for my former student

This butterfly represents a former student of mine.  She is embarrassed and wants me to remove her name, but she needs help.  She is brilliant, passionate, and motivated. She was majoring at Uconn in Sociology and maintaining a 3.0 GPA until life circumstances and the economic impact of Coronavirus stopped her in her tracks. She had to withdraw from school, lost her job, and had to leave her apartment on July 31st. She is working hard on getting a job and staying with friends so she can get back on her feet and then get back in school, but she is going to need reliable transportation to make it all work. I'm asking for your help to raise enough money to help her buy a car as soon as possible.  This is a young woman who is going to change the world someday (she wants to be a Director of Diversity or Diversity Officer) but she has no support system in place. She is smarter, more driven, and more independent than I ever was as a sophomore in college! The difference is, I had generations of privilege to carry me easily into adulthood. I had parents who could pay for school, a car, and shelter, while I focused on my studies. This young woman is the kind of people the world needs right now, but she needs that degree! Let's just get her on her feet so she can focus on school. Please help me get her some reliable transportation!
