Transportation for Tyra

Hi everyone! My name is Joy, and I am fundraising on behalf of my sweet cousin Tyra. She is a working and loving mother of two and a domestic violence survivor. On January 15th of 2020, she was shot in her home 8 times by her son’s father. She is now a paraplegic, and, though she faces many difficulties, she has not let that steal her light. Through faith in God, she has kept the sweetest spirit and brightest soul. In fact, she is now an advocate for the disabled community and for domestic violence survivors and victims, an inspiration to me and to so many others.

How we can help:

She is now working towards the purchase of a special vehicle tailored to her needs. This type of transportation would greatly improve her daily life, as you can imagine the weight that would be lifted if she were able to not only transport herself but also once again have the independence of transporting her kids.
