Transportation & funeral expenses for Glenda

Dear Family and friends,

As of today, 5/29/2023 Glenda Lee Colon-Acevedo (49) has joined our heavenly father. Glenda was born in Puerto Rico, raised in New Jersey and relocated back and forth to Florida where she passed away. It is all tragic, unexpected, and hard for us all to take in.

We are devasted by our mothers passing and seeking help to cover the cost to bring Glenda (Mom) back to New Jersey so that she can be with her children and buried (reunited) with her brother Gabriel “Moyo” Colon whom she loved dearly.

Glenda was born to her Mother Cecila Acevedo and Father Gabriel Colon. She has a sister Francisca, a living brother Gabriel & deceased brother Gabriel “Moyo”. Glenda took pride in being a mother to all 6 of her children (Alyssa, Malyssa, Emiliana, Angelica, Julia, & Sofia) and loved/adored all 9 of her grandchildren (Ashton, LunaLee, Joseph, James, Devon, Honesty, Camiko, Melani, & Bryce). Glenda was a loving grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, & friend.

Although it may sound cliché but if you have had the opportunity to meet Glenda then you know, to know her is to love her. She has helped many people in different ways, and we all share stories which the common denominator is the way she has helped/impacted our lives.
