UPDATE FROM HEATHERS POST 3/5

God is good and miracles happen every day. Cory is our miracle. He is being released from the hospital today. Please let him and us adjust to him coming home. He will definitely welcome visitors soon. Thank you all again for your love and support. I am still wrapping my head around the fact that just a week ago this nightmare started and now he is coming home.

Lines are coming out! He is getting moved!!! Going to the regular cardiac wing now. Can’t believe it! Thank you again for all the love, support and prayers!❤️

Saturday morning March 2

He is awake and we just had an entire conversation with him. He has some speech trouble but that can be fixed with time. He wanted to know what happened so we told him. He is upset- rightfully so. The restraints are gone and he is asking for food. Today’s big step is working on getting the chest tube out.

Update 3/1/2024

Cory has opened his eyes, moved his head, squeezed Heather's hand, and has responded to some prompts. He is in and out of consciousness. They continue to sedate him at times, to let his body rest. He is strong and fighting. They are hoping to get the oxygen tube out, but are waiting for better levels. Heather is very grateful for all of the support. Please continue to keep Heather, Cory, and the boys in your prayers.

On February 27, 2024 Cory had a heart attack. He is currently in a paralyzed drug induced state. Please help support Heather and the boys during this time. All donations raised will go directly to Heather so she can focus on Cory and his recovery. Donations will help her cover everyday life expenses along with the massive amount of medical bills they are accruing.
