Trapped in Port au Prince, Haiti
Donation protected
On February 29th we were traveling from southern Haiti to Florida. We became stuck in Port au Prince when gangs began shooting at the airport while we were waiting for our flight. We have been trapped in the capitol city for 23 days now!
This was an unexpected stay obviously and it has become very expensive! At the same time we leave behind in the south of Haiti our orphanage of 200+ kids. With the country in such turmoil it has become harder than ever to collect the needed food and supplies that our kids need. Imports are not currently coming to the country. The food and supplies that are available are now at an all-time premium price! Gas prices are $15 a gallon. Banks are not open, requiring us to obtain credit with vendors at additional costs. It is so incredibly difficult to do anything!
We need your help!!!!
