Here is my story:

My name is Linda Pena. I am a 62 year-old woman from Venezuela that considers herself simple, caring and who is most of all - like they say in my country - echada pa' lante (a go getter)! Through all the adversity I've faced in my life I always strive to stay strong and push through. Currently, I am fighting a stomach cancer gastric lesson fundus borrmann IV). I've gone in and out of remission three times since I was diagnosed in 06/20/ 2016. Sadly, the health care system in Venezuela is falling apart and the medication I need to continue treating my condition is absolutely nowhere to be found in the country. Which is why I have taken a leap of faith and come to the United States with the hope of getting treatment here before my condition worsens. Today I ask you to please help me raise enough for my treatment since I am currently without insurance or a job. The cost of the treatment chemotherapy is $40000 which an additional $19000 in hospital fees for the 3 times I'll have to be hospitalized throughout. If you find it in your heart and within your means, please contribute to my cause. I will be eternally grateful to God and all the blessed souls that I know will help me get through this tough fight I'm in.
