Providing Trauma Training and Equipment to Ukrainian Citizens

Dear Friends,

I would love your help in a mission to help save civilian lives in Ukraine.

The Russian invasion is proving catastrophic for the people of Ukraine. They are under siege and civilians are being targeted by the Russian Military, resulting in horrific injuries. Think of the bombing of the maternity center or the now-deceased people who were trying to escape via “safety zones.” With limited emergency medical infrastructure remaining in many parts of the country, it is now up to individuals to care for themselves and those around them.

These brave Ukrainians need our help, and I am working with an organization called citizenAID to provide Treatment kits designed specifically for people with little or no medical training.

citizenAID, developed by Military and Civilian Doctors and Paramedics, educates, empowers, and equips the public to handle and treat seriously injured people before professional medical help can arrive. They make a huge impact in communities across our country by providing their specialized Public Treatment Kits and matching all of their online trauma training 1for1, and donating back to local schools with the goal of training 1 million teachers how to save lives for free. A great company doing great work.

In this international effort, citizenAID will donate their online training to as many Ukrainians as they can reach. They are doing this by providing free access directly to their online video training that they have already translated into Ukrainian. In addition, they are also providing their lifesaving APP free so the entire population can download it.

100% of this GoFundMe.org fundraiser will provide citizenAID Treatment Kits containing tourniquets, pressure dressings, packing gauze, and a step-by-step guide to treat gunshot and blast injuries, so the general public can provide immediate help to those who need it most. citzenAID is covering the cost to get these kits to Ukraine.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help get this lifesaving equipment and training to the many Ukrainian people that desperately need it. One kit (pictured above) costs roughly $45 today. However, with supply chain issues and freight increases, these kits could end up costing more.
