Medical Emergency Expenses for Chris & Brittany

Hi, my name is Katee, I am organizing this for my bump bestie and beautiful friend Brittany Castillo. Brittany went in for medical induction on June 29th, at 37 weeks due to health complications in her pregnancy. After 120 hours of labor, a failed induction and an emergency c section she gave birth to baby Gretzky July 3rd 2023. After being cleared after a few days in the NICU Gretzky and Brittany were released from the hospital. Shortly after bringing her beautiful baby boy into the world her husband returned to complete the duration of his deployment.

At 2 weeks old Gretzky was taken to the ER Tuesday evening and admitted immediately. He has a diagnosis of “NEC” Necrotizing Enterocolitis. He is being treated medically with a PICC line and medications over the next 7-10 days with general surgery on stand by following his care.

Brittany has also faced a mountain of health battles since G’s arrival and is being treated for infections currently.

On top of being new parents with health crisis’, they are paying out of pocket for multiple expenses revolving around this medical emergency. Things are in the process of bringing Christopher home to be there for Brittany and Gretzky. I am asking for any help to assist them during this hard time.
