Travel expenses to MD Anderson for Elena Lenz

Elena Lenz is the mother of three beautiful children and wife to a loving husband. Elena and her husband have been married for 17 years. Her children are Jakob 15, Gabriella 12 almost 13, and Faith 8. Elena worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 10 years. She took a few years off to take care of Faith (she was a baby then) and then went back to work for employee health.  Elena was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in April 2021.  Elena worked in the employee health clinic for a time then was transitioned to a full time remote job since she was diagnosed with cancer. The hospital  wanted to protect her from exposure to germs.  She has bravely endured many treatments of chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries in her battle.  Elena’s newest course of treatment will require travel to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. This will consist of multiple trips. We would like to raise money to help with travel expenses related to her treatment and to ease the burden on her family.
