Travel fees for California Grizzlies Rugby

Hello, my name is Jack Hansen and I have been selected to the California Grizzlies all-star team for collegiate rugby. I am a member of the UC Davis Rugby Club as a tighthead prop, and have been playing rugby since I was a freshman in high school for River City High School in West Sacramento. I am currently a second-year Managerial Economics major at Davis and am humbled and honored to have been chosen for this team.

Unfortunately, the travel fees are too much for me to cover on my own. The Grizzlies will be traveling to Chile where they will play the country's U23 national team. This trip would mean everything to me as a young rugby player looking to lead my team as the vice-captain next season. The trip would allow me to play a level of rugby I have never experienced before, travel to a country with a rich rugby culture, and play with new teammates from a variety of backgrounds. The experience gained on this trip would not only make me a better rugby player but would give me the knowledge and skills necessary to help our growing Davis side improve over the next two years.

I am highly appreciative of any amount you are willing to offer me. Any amount that is over the amount needed to get me to Chile will be donated to the UC Davis team and used to buy new equipment for the upcoming season.
