A little about this team

47 days ago this team was assembled as top performers to represent the Town of South Windsor in the District 8 CT. Little League Tournament. After 34 practices and 10 games these 13 boys have not only won a District 8 Title, and a Section 4 Title and this past weekend won the 1st ever State Championship with a 7-0 over Hamden for a bid to represent South Windsor as TEAM CONNECTICUT!

EXPENSES

This amazing whirlwind of events over the past several days has landed the kids in the Eastern Regional Tournament being held in Rhode Island next week from 8/6-8/13. They will be competing against the surrounding 12 States Making up the Eastern Regional Little League Tournament. Along with that come many unanticipated expenses in Travel, Hotel and Food for families for 1 week. Any contribution is SO greatly appreciated! We want to make sure these boys and their families are able to attend and enjoy this once in a lifetime event that the kids will remember for the rest of their lives. Sports have a potential to teach todays youth the value of hard work, perserverance, friendship, camaraderie and TEAMWORK which will stick with them for the rest of their lives.

HISTORY MADE

South Windsor remains undefeated in 2022 Tournament play and now advances to the Eastern Regional hosted by Cranston Western Little League.

South Windsor will represent us as TEAM CONNECTICUT and compete in the New England Pool vs the respective New England State Champions with the winner playing the Mid-Atlantic Pool winner for the Eastern Region Championship.
