Travel to a marine conservation conference (October '24)

Hi, I'm Michelle, a marine biologist with a deep passion for marine conservation and marine spatial planning, as you can see from this video. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected to present my master’s thesis on these topics at the International Marine Conservation Congress in South Africa! They’ve even covered my housing and registration fees :)

However, I live quite far from South Africa, and the flights are extremely expensive. I'm reaching out in hopes of getting some support to attend my first marine science congress. This opportunity would allow me to share the progress my colleagues and I have made in protecting our oceans and hopefully keep it going.
