Traveled 900 miles, then family lost everything
Donation protected
We, Dominique and Knut Herbst, and our two children (3 and 1), decided to give up our old life in Berlin and travel to Liverpool in a camper van. Four days after our arrival, on Saturday, 29 October, our trailer with all our belongings attached to our motorhome was stolen from Nicholas Road in Crosby. We had gone to look at some houses, and thieves had taken the trailer with everything we owned, put it on the street, and the council eliminated it. The only thing they didn't take was our camper and passports. It's terrible for us. How are we going to explain this to the children? They keep asking why someone stole their toys. We were supposed to be a new chapter in our lives, and it started so tragically... Still, we want to give Liverpool a second chance. We have nothing left and are starting from the beginning. If you can, help us build a new home in Liverpool. The first thing we'll do is buy a Christmas tree, beds and presents for the children.
