My mom, Linda Luczak, is in her 70's and going thru the battle of her life.
In October 2014 she was diagnosed with Carcinosarcoma of the Uterus -- a highly aggressive form of uterine cancer. The tumor in her pelvis grew so fast that in the short time between diagnosis and treatment the tumor created a blockage resulting in constipation and the inability for her to urinate without the help of a catheter.
She had several radiation treatments and has had 2 rounds of chemo so far. Through all of the travel, radiation and chemo treatments, blood draws, urinary catheters and hair loss her positive attitude and my parents' vision for the future is an inspiration to our family and everyone who knows them.
My mom and dad, Linda and Roger Luczak, spend their winters in a RV Resort park in Florence AZ (about an hour away from her treatment center). They both work at the resort (Mom manages the office), saving on expenses so they can afford to travel to North Florida and the Midwest during the summer months to visit their children and grandchildren. Unfortunately, since Mom has been sick, she has not been able to work regularly and owing to the growing medical expenses and the cost of driving to the treatment center, they are worried about their summer travel plans.
I am asking for donations for their travel fund so the only thing they need to concern themselves with is Mom making a full recovery from Carcinosarcoma.
