Following the Savior's footsteps
Hello Friends and Family!
Most of you know that I am currently in school to receive my Master's in Theology and Ministry. This year I have the opportunity to travel with fellow classmates to the wonderful country of Israel. During this 2 week trip, I will be taking an immersion course on the history of the church in Israel. Some of the locations which we will be traveling are Mt. Of Olives, Gethsemane, City of David/Hezekiah's, Pools of Bethesda, taking a Boat Ride on Galilee, visiting the Mt. of Beatitudes and going to about 20+ other locations.
This trip is important to me because I feel that it will impact, not only my spiritual life but how I relate to others. Coming from an advocate's background, I believe I can take what I learn about the people of Israel and their history, and be able to apply it to various areas in my life. The projects and learning activities that we will be doing while on this trip will help me develop more as an advocate, learder, and worshiper.
In order to fund this trip I will be selling items via my facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/izzybellescreations) and selling Kaboom cookies. That of course will not be enough to raise the money needed for the trip. This is why I am appealing to each of you.
Through your contributions I will be able to experience first hand the places where it all started. I will walk down these historical roads and experience His love for me on a whole other level.
