Travis Bryant's Medical Expenses

On Thursday, September 15, 2023, Travis was in a dirt bike accident while on vacation. A friend and former EMT, Kelly Johns, responded immediately, assisting until rescue could reach him. Travis suffered from a traumatic brain injury and was transferred to Piedmont Regional in Athens, Ga, where he has been kept in the ICU. He was on life support for the first couple days with brain bleeding and swelling. He suffered a collapsed lung, facial fractures, and was not breathing on his own. Travis took a turn towards recovery on Saturday morning when he was able to be taken off the ventilator. He is now breathing on his own, listening and responding to commands. It is a miracle that he is with us today. Travis' wife, Taylor, has been by his side while their three kids stay with family in Bell, FL. They are expected to be in the hospital many weeks and hope to be transferred to UF, where they can be closer to family while Travis continues to receive care and recover. We have started this fund to help provide for Travis' family while he and his wife are out of work. He will also be incurring a large expense due to medical bills.
