Travis Cobb- Medical Expenses

Hi, I’m April Harshner, and I have started this GoFundMe for my daddy, Travis Cobb.

Saturday, October 15, 2022, he had a severe fall from the roof of a building….falling head first. When the ambulance arrived, it was discovered that his injuries were severe, and he had to be airlifted to Savannah, Ga. After tons of tests, several cat scans and MRIs, we found out that his neck, back, and several ribs were broken, along with blood in his lungs. One positive thing about this is that he can move both arms, legs and all fingers and toes….Praise God!!! After meeting with the neurosurgeon, we were told that he would have neck and back surgery in the next few days, and he is expected to have an extended stay in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries. He will also likely need therapy and in-home care for a while after coming home. He is going to have a long road to recovery, but praise God; he is still with us!!!

Anyone that knows me or my family know that we hate asking for help, especially my daddy. But, due to the circumstances, I’m asking for him. At the beginning of this year, he lost his job, of which he was a very loyal employee for30+ years….along with that went his health insurance. After months of searching for new health insurance, he just got a new policy last week, but it will not go into effect until Nov. 1, 2022. So, needless to say, he can use all the help he can get. Mama (Donna Cobb) will need to be with him in the hospital as much as possible, which means she will also be out of work. My sister Magan and I will travel back and forth as much as possible also.

All donations will go straight to my parents for medical expenses, travel expenses, bills and any other expenses that may arise during Daddy's healing process. No amount is too small, but if you can't donate, we completely understand, but PLEASE KEEP MY DADDY IN YOUR PRAYERS!!!!
