Travis crossing guard's sudden death of husband

Donation protected
Ms. Annette, one of the beloved Travis Elementary crossing guards, lost her husband, Michael B. Walker, 44 y.o., last night (9/27). Michael collapsed and did not recover after passing out on his return to bed from a trip to the restroom - apparently from Covid-related respiratory distress. Annette, his wife of 16 years and their three kids tried to resuscitate him.

Ms. Annette has dutifully helped so many across the crosswalk on Houston Avenue and Bayland each morning and afternoon for the past two years (near Uncle Bean's). We'd like to raise funds to help this family deal with this tragic and sudden loss. In addition to the sudden loss of her husband, no doubt kids Tristan (12 y.o.), Zoe (11 y.o.), and Damien (8 y.o.) could use our help. Please feel free to share to the broader community.
