Travis Raney RN, has been a Home Health nurse for over 6 years and cares for patients and families living with acute and chronic medical conditions to enable them to live with the highest level of independence and quality of life possible. His compassion, kindness, and dedication to his patients are a treasured part of who he is, both as a person and a nurse.
Throughout the COVID pandemic, Travis has been among the amazing healthcare workers who have prioritized the safety and comfort of patients, often at significant personal risk. He is always willing to assist a teammate or adjust his schedule to accommodate a patient’s needs.
On Sunday, May 14th, Travis suffered a severe medical event that resulted in being transported to a Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He is currently undergoing aggressive treatment, requiring an extended road to recovery.
Travis has two children, with his younger son being cared for by his mother Lorraine. Lorraine is also caring for her husband, who suffers from a terminal illness. While caring for her grandchildren and husband, Lorraine is also working to get back and forth to Seattle to visit with Travis and can use assistance with transportation costs and the compounding medical bills that Travis will have due to this event.
Please come alongside us as we raise funds to assist with Travis’ care and support the Raney family as they move through this difficult time.
