Travis Romero, beloved son, brother and friend

Donation protected
Hi Family and Friends,

Travis was one of my oldest friends; we were "brothers from another mother." I feel truly blessed that we developed and maintained a lifelong friendship of over 37 years.

Your contributions will be used to help with burial costs for funeral and memorial services in Colorado (family) and the memorial service in Los Angeles (friends and family). Travis's mom Beverly gave me permission to request donations. If there are surplus funds, these extra funds will be donated to the school in Thailand where Travis passionately, compassionately, and selflessly donated much of his time and money to those who were less fortunate.

Please join us in remembering and celebrating Travis's life on November 4, 2023. If you can attend the Los Angeles Memorial please RSVP through this link
https://www.eventcreate.com/e/inlovingmemoryoftravisromero. I'm sure you all have countless wonderful memories and thoughts to share of how Travis touched your life.

Please indulge me to share a few of my own.

Travis and I met at Monterey Bay Academy. He was my first-year roommate in the MBA boy's dorm. Initially we didn't care much for each, but by the end of senior year, through a myriad of unforgettable late night discussions and on and off-campus excursions/adventures (including a Westwinds' NY trip during which we faced down thugs who appeared to be armed), Travis became one of my closest friends.

I'll always remember Travis's generous spirit, wit, creativity, and rare ability to truly listen so that you felt as if you were the most important person in the world. Travis embodied one of my favorite quotes from Dr. Seuss:

"To the world, you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world."

And, of course, Travis was a consummate storyteller. Many of you know him as the co-creator of "White Collar." My daughters know him as Uncle Travis, who would regale them with story adventures, masterfully blending elements of fact and fiction from our lives, to spin the most incredible tales.

Above all, Travis pursued his dreams and passions; consequently, he genuinely never worked a day in his life. He lived life "his way." Should we all be so fortunate.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

On behalf of Travis's family and yours truly,

Mike Jaurigue
