On 10/12/18, the Hennepin County Attorney's office held a press conference with false accusations being made regarding Officer Travis Serafin. Because of this, it has now become necessary for Travis to obtain legal counsel to clear himself of all alleged misconduct and set the record straight.
For those of us who know Travis, we know him as a friend, as a devoted husband and dad, and a great neighbor.
We know him as a youth hockey and softball coach, and as a hard-working, can't-stay-idle kind of guy. Anyone who knows Travis also knows that the accusations that are being made of Travis are untrue and sadly misconstrued. After 18 years with the Eden Prairie Police Department, with an unblemished career record, not to mention the accolades over the years, this fiasco is beyond belief.
In an effort to support Travis and his family, we have established this GoFundMe page to ease the financial stress and help with the unwarranted and unexpected expenses during this difficult time.
