Travis Sharrett - Growing the Game Scholarship

We are the Below Average Golfers & we are raising money for a scholarship fund in memory of Travis Sharrett.
The challenge

The players participating are Caleb Wallen (10 Handicap) and Owen Smith (18 Handicap).

About this scholarship
- The inspiration for the name comes from a cousin of Caleb Wallen, who is one of the BAGs founding members. Travis Sharrett was a senior at Blue River Valley High School when his life was tragically cut short due to a car accident when Caleb was in 6th grade. Travis was a member of the Golf team and loved to be out on the course any time he could be. At that point, Caleb hadn’t been fully bitten by the “Golf bug”. However, after Travis passed, Caleb’s Aunt and Uncle decided to give Travis’ clubs to Caleb and from there, the rest is history. Caleb wouldn't have played Golf for Eastern Hancock nor decided to take his game to the next level if it wasn’t for Travis sharing his love of the game with him. Just as Travis grew the game for Caleb, we would like to grow the game for you and help you develop the same love for the game that we at BAGs have. See below on how to apply for this scholarship.
