Travis Teramae Montavon funeral funds
Hello friends and family! My name is Danny Teramae i live in Pasadena California. Travis’s home town I am a first cousin of Travis. As many of you know by now Travis’s time has come (11/3/2020)and he is no longer suffering and resting in peace along side our grandparents and many other loved ones.
Now the things coming up is funeral expenses. having run some numbers ,I have had a few people reach out on how they can help or do anything, and on behalf of my cousin I think if you would have any amount you’d be willing to donate as 100% will be going towards funeral expenses & help out crystal as she begins making a transitions without Travis.
A little biography about Travis is he was born September 15th 1979. Raised solely by his mother Cheryl Teramae he graduated high school from Saint Francis in La Canada, Ca in I believe 1997. Shortly after at the age of 17 enlisted and spent 8 years in the marine corps as a reservist and spent time on active duty as well (0621 radio operator 29 palms and 0331 infantry machine gunner 4/1 Hawaii recon unit).
He went to University of Riverside and graduated 2009 got his Bachelor degree in history (don’t remember the exact history) in between the marines and college Travis also attend Pasadena city college taking some classes and worked a handful of jobs (also a snap on tool rep pretty cool) in between! One of his more important jobs was being a Technican’s at Paul’s auto repair in Azusa. As Paul closed up his shop he convinced Travis to take a job teaching at UTI one thing he thought he would never do. From UTI he taught BMW Fastrack and electrical along with a handful of other courses of course! From UTI he taught at Bmw for a while and went to Audi for 2 yearsthen back to BMW western region being an instructor. From being at bmw Travis moved up the ladder over at bmw from instructor(Ontario) to senior instructor (woodcliff lakes New Jersey) to Regional Technical Training manager(Chicago and Atlanta). In between all the jobs he had married the love of his Life Crystal Bonilla on 11/21/2015.also beginning his battle of cancer shortly after being a newly wedded couple. Not to mention he just about worked all through out his cancer and moved to 4 different states. On 12/24/17 they gave life to their beautiful daughter Leilani and as many of you know there is a lot more detail and things in between but just to give a little backside story about him for the few who don’t know! He was a man who always wanted better for anyone and everyone and took the time to get things done and make genuine connections. He’d offer a lending hand if anyone ever needed it and was a true inspiration to many.
If there is anything I can help with or if you would like to donate in person or other platforms I’m again in Pasadena and can be reached on face book as Danny Teramae.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being there with him from day one to the last days with cancer. Everyone’s support helped carry him through that 5 year battle.
Love the Teramae & Montavon family.
