In lieu of flowers and to honor Travis's life work, please consider monetary gifts to Nomad Adventures... to keep the adventure going!

Travis Scott, the son of Steve Pineur and Wanda (Kes) Leppert, was born on October 14, 1985 in Faribault, MN.  He attended Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 2004.  Following high school Travis attended Guide School in Colorado and upon completion was hired two days later for his first guiding trip in Idaho. From Idaho, Travis spent the next 6 years in the Thorofare Valley Region of Wyoming for Hidden Creek Outfitters.  He loved it there and formed relationships that moved his life toward new adventures and opportunities.  After a few years Travis started his own guide service, Nomad Adventures. “DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT IT, BE ABOUT IT!” was Travis’s motto for Nomad Adventures.  This was the beginning of his adventure and passion that took him from the top of the World to the bottom of the World. Travis would make other’s dreams come true during these adventures and he took great joy in seeing the success of his friends and clients during their trips.  His adventures took him to Alaska, Mexico, Argentina, New Zealand and many states in the U.S.  Travis’s magnetic personality made it easy for him to develop life long friendships with the clients he would guide for and all would consider him a close friend today.  In May of 2015 Travis was turkey hunting in the Black Hills with some other guide friends and it was there that his friend, Tanner Thompson-Moad introduced him to the love of his life, Megan Lapka.  Their relationship took off from there and on July 21, 2018 they were united in marriage in Viborg, SD.  Travis and Megan worked together to build Nomad Adventures and were actively filling their calendar with different adventures in the coming year.  Together they filled their lives with adventure, stories to share, not things to show.  Travis also enjoyed spending time at the cabin, snowmobiling and fishing.  He will be greatly missed by all.
