It is with a heavy heart that we ask for your support to the family of Travis Higginbotham, who was tragically killed, while traveling to a job that he loved.
Travis loved spending time with his wife Wendy and their horses in Northeast Texas. He was a loving dad to two young boys, Porter and Logan, who thought he was their super-hero. And Travis was very enthusiastic about race cars and enjoyed working on them himself.
Travis worked at Shermco Industries for 8 years, in a variety of positions and was a rising star in the company. His teammates could always count on him, he demonstrated great intelligence, leadership and exceptional mechanical skills. He had an infectious smile that rubbed off on others - everyone liked Travis and he liked everyone.
Travis was a very special guy that we will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
