Help Jamie Dickerson Create a Grief Center in Nashville

Donation protected
In 2023, Jamie Dickerson's life was turned upside down when her 29-year-old daughter, April Holt, was murdered. Jamie now has custody of April's two young children, and for the past year, they have been doing their best to grieve this unimaginable loss. But there isn't a rule book on HOW to grieve. In the months after her daughter's death, Jamie longed for a community where people understood her pain. There were days when she just wanted to sit and share her experience with others who have lost a child. But that resource wasn't available to her.

Since then, God has given Jamie a vision that she will open up a grief center in Nashville called Grieve with Me. She wants it to be a place where people can come, drink some coffee and talk about their experiences. A safe space where children can participate in art therapy. Jamie wants to create a community where people don't feel alone in their sorrow. A place where people feel welcomed to talk about their grief journey.

This non-profit was put on Jamie's heart in the months after her daughter's death, and we believe it can be a valuable resource for people around Nashville who are grieving, just like Jamie is.

She has recently found a building where she wants to hold this non-profit, but she needs help with funding. If you feel called, please consider donating so that Jamie can help others in their grief journey.
