Wedding Bliss
Nathan and I have large hopes for our wedding.
We are doing as many thing ourselves as we can with the help of my mom and our wedding party.
Nathan works over 40 hours in a week, I have been under-employeed for the better part of 2 years, then when I found "full time" employment, it was still less than 40 hours a week; and unfortunately I am once again on the hunt- we both have bills to pay, and not enough room to save as much as we need to in order to make our wedding dreams come true.
My parents have contributed as much financially as they are able - and my mom is also making all of the attire for our 10 attendants, me, Nathan, and our flower girl; plus as a retired florist, she's the only one I trust to do my flowers.
Nathan's family would love to contribute but are not in a position to do so at this time; His mother recently was laid off from her chaplain services with the hospital.
The budget we set aside for our cake, thinking it was reasonable is proving to be quite a bit under everything we're being quoted - but we don't have room anywhere in the budget to shift things around. Also we found out that we have to rent chairs for our ceremony space (we were hoping to use the banquet chairs from inside our reception space, but the rules won't allow it). We also are aware of the rising cost of fuel and how that impacts everything else, most especially food, flowers, and delivery costs from every direction.
So this is where you come in our dear friends - any thing you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will go towards paying for our wedding dreams.
