Treatment for Aggressive Tumor for my Father

Hi, my name is Katherine and I'm having a fundraising for my father.

My father, Nestor Silva, is currently a student at Memphis School of Preaching. He came to the United States in December 2022 with his wife, Melania and their daughter Ashley, which is in High School right now.

About three months ago, he started having headaches. About a month ago, he found out that he has a tumor pressing on the base of his brain. He went to some hospitals in Memphis to see why the pain would not go away. Unfortunately, he did not have health insurance, and has to cover all the medical bills out-of-pocket.

Finally, he decided to fly back to Costa Rica as it became an emergency and he is able to obtain more affordable treatment there. Doctors are treating him and having different types of tests and procedures. He is in need of financial help right now to be able to pay all the medical bills.

We are currently doing everything we can to help him get all the medical treatment he needs because the tumor is rapidly growing.

Hola, mi nombre es Katherine y voy a recaudar fondos para mi padre.

Mi padre, Néstor Silva, actualmente estudia en "Memphis School of Preaching". Llegó a los Estados Unidos en diciembre de 2022 con su esposa, Melania y su hija Ashley, que actualmente está en la escuela secundaria.

Hace unos tres meses comenzó a tener dolores de cabeza. Hace aproximadamente un mes, descubrió que tiene un tumor que presiona la base de su cerebro. Fue a algunos hospitales de Memphis para ver por qué el dolor no desaparecía. Desafortunadamente, no tenía seguro médico y tiene que cubrir todas las facturas médicas de su bolsillo.

Finalmente, decidió volar de regreso a Costa Rica ya que se convirtió en una emergencia y allí puede obtener un tratamiento más asequible. Los médicos lo están tratando y realizando diferentes tipos de pruebas y procedimientos. Necesita ayuda financiera en este momento para poder pagar todas las facturas médicas.

Actualmente estamos haciendo todo lo posible para ayudarlo a recibir todo el tratamiento médico que necesita porque el tumor está creciendo rápidamente.
