Treatment for Carson Still

Hi, my name is Kelly Still and our family is reaching out to local corporations, friends and family to support our efforts to provide financial assistance for our son, Carson. Tragically, he was severely injured around Christmas time a little over a year ago. Prior to Carson’s accident, he was a great friend and a wonderful team player in baseball for an East Cobb travel team and football for his middle school team. He was and remains an avid outdoorsman. He attends eighth grade and loves to fix anything that’s broken. He has a can-do, won’t quit attitude. While adjusting to life in a wheelchair, at only 14, he is wise beyond his years. He continues to enjoy his time with his many friends and family who have never left his side. While we continue to pray for improvement, we consider ourselves fortunate for our community support, friends and family.

We believe with your support, we can raise additional funds and add to the efforts and funds being raised through the Pot Pie Sales. Together it will help him receive treatments and future therapy that will be life changing for his mobility and functionality. As you can imagine being able to be in as much control of his body as possible, encourages him and increases his confidence and ability to be more independent. These treatments are expensive and complicated and insurance doesn’t cover everything. We have researched many Doctors and have one that is experienced, qualified and has treated many patients successfully. Fortunately, he has immediate access and is ready with a treatment plan for Carson. He pushes himself to the limit with a positive mindset and this will allow him to grow beyond what his body will do with therapy alone. We want to be able to exploit every opportunity we can with your support. I think we all have the same drive to assist our children and leave no stone unturned when they are faced with troubles out of their and our control. Any support is appreciated including prayers.
