Treehouse Wellbeing to support children and families.

We are Treehouse Creativity and Wellbeing. We set up Treehouse in June 2023 as a not for profit community interest company serving the local communities across Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

Our base is the Treehouse Therapy Centre which is a hub of therapeutic support and creativity in Lutterworth, South Leics. We currently have several therapists working with children, young people and families. We aim to create a space for all ages to access support. 

Our aim is to offer affordable and accessible wellbeing and creativity services which enhance the lives of the local community.

We started offering low cost therapy in August 2024 as this has always been our aim, however the demand has sky rocketed and we cannot currently fund anymore support. The low cost support is for families who may receive income support but also who are sitting just above that threshold and don't currently qualify for any extra support but can't afford to fund support for their child themselves.

At the moment we are supporting 5 families who desperately needed the help. We hope to continue to support more families. The waiting lists for paediatricians and CAMHS are up to 3 years. We want to be able to give the support now and not keep families waiting. We have also been offering free parent support workshops which have been attended well and received great feedback.

£546 will cover the cost of a play therapy episode for one child for 3 months.
