Hiking the South Coast Ultra for ActionAid
Hello, my name is Tegan. I live in Brighton, England. On 6th September 2025, I will be hiking 57km (36 miles) along the South Coast Ultra in aid of ActionAid.
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Their dedicated local staff are changing the world with women and girls. Action Aid are ending violence and fighting poverty so that all women and girls, everywhere, can create the future they want.
As a woman, I feel particularly connected to this cause. I will be hiking the South Coast Ultra alongside my mum and sister.
I am raising money for ActionAid to support their work in Palestine. Almost every Palestinian person is living in poverty, with half of the population being children. ActionAid support Palestinian children through material goods but also emotional support related to the trauma of war, and this is incredibly important.
£100 could provide emergency food for five people for one month.
£150 could provide blankets for 12 families, to keep them warm.
£300 could provide emergency food for six families for one month.
Thank you for any donation and support!
