Tremaine Johnson Pilot Journey

My name is Tremaine and this article is about me and thousands of other minorities that have aspirations of becoming a pilot. I know that minority pilots are few and far between. So being a black man or minority pilot is bigger than me. It will give other young men hope that they can do it to. That’s why I applied for the RedTail Flight Academy scholarship It’s not enough to be accepted into the “RedTail Flight Academy “pilot program. My desire is to complete the program with honors. My expected date to start orientation is September 6, 2022. My flight training will start November 4, 2022.

My strong work ethics, resiliency and desire to be successful is what has propelled me this far. The “RedTail Flight Academy scholarship is a twelve weeks training that will afford me the opportunity to get private pilot training ( 6 weeks ) and instrument training ( 6weeks). “ However, out of pocket expenses (room, board, and training materials) are not included. This scholarship is once in a lifetime for a young man like me. And I am blessed to have been accepted. However, this “RedTail Flight Academy scholarship “ money “ that neither my parents or I have to complete the program. Therefore, I am asking you for your financial support to help me break barriers and become one the best pilots of all time! All funds will be used to complete my journey to obtain my Pilot license and complete my college degree.
