Memorial Fund for the Children of Trent Hendricks

Trent Hendricks of Koshkonong, MO — beloved father, husband, and steward of land and livestock — passed away from a heart attack on October 1st, 2022 at the age of 49. Amidst this massive loss, Trent's friends and colleagues are raising funds to help the Hendricks family cope during this difficult time and to create a scholarship fund to support Trent's children.

Trent was a man of true character, and nothing mattered more in life than his family. He leaves behind his wife, Rachel, and their six children.

Together as a family, they own Cabriejo Ranch in the Missouri Ozarks where they produce grassfed beef and lamb along with operating their ranch as the HQ for a large grazing operation including many utility-scale solar farms across the Midwest and Southeast states. Their business is a family operation, and his absence will leave an irreplaceable void not just within his family but also in the world of grassfed livestock production for whom he was a central and vital figure.

Trent was a rancher, consultant, and serial entrepreneur having interests in all things agricultural, food, and environment. He served as a board member for the American Grassfed Association, the Grassfed Alliance, Propagate Ventures, and the American Solar Grazing Association, and was an advisor to the Savory Institute and an accredited Savory Field Professional. Trent’s passion was for reviving rural communities with Holistic Management and grassland economies.

He was one-of-a-kind and he has left an indelible mark on God's green earth. Anyone that had the privilege of knowing or working with Trent is better for it and we will miss him dearly.
